Why does my skin seem to be so much drier in the winter months?
Cold weather wreaks havoc on our skin on its own. When you consider all of the other sources including heaters, electric blankets, fireplaces, etc it is no surprise that your skin tends to become extremely dry. It was moving to the desert climate that motivated Christine Heathman, product developer and CEO of GlyMed Plus, to create a hand and body lotion that could improve dry skin quickly and dramatically.

I have read that alpha hydroxy acids can create photo sensitivities. Is it safe to use Alpha Therapeutic Hand & Body Lotion?
Yes, but GlyMed Plus always advocates the use of sunscreen on any exposed areas. Our favorite for the body is GlyMed Plus Photo Age Environmental Protection Gel SPF 15 or 30+.

Is this product safe for pregnant or breastfeeding moms?
Yes, this product is safe to use while pregnant/breastfeeding.
